AFRICAN CREATIVE ENTREPRENEUR AWARDS

Sometime in 2010 we realized there was little to no proper representation of African stories, arts and culture in Scotland and in response to the dearth of African stories in Scotland we started a movie production outfit with the aim of advancing the arts, culture and heritage by creating Authentic African stories in Scotland. We became the first organization to make African movies in Scotland and we have a movie currently trending on Amazon Prime. Fast forward to present day Scotland, there is now more participation of Africans in the creative sector of Scotland. However despite this increase there is still no organization, body or awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating the efforts of African creatives in Scotland. Hence why we decided it’s time to celebrate the hard works that Africans have put in the creative industries in scotland with the aim to: Advance the arts, creativity, culture and heritage of Africans in diaspora. Empower and enable more Africans in the diaspora to contribute more towards the creative industries in Scotland and beyond. Increase the number of Africans actively seeking a foot in the door of the creative industries. CELEBRATE BLACK EXCELLENCE
